Create an element animation (fire, lighting, water, etc.)
I went fire. I started off drawing the background and character in Photoshop. I animated the fire, smoke, and everything else using Adobe Animate. Once I got everything to my liking, I through the project into After Effects. For well, the after effects. Messed around with it in there for a while and BOOM! Animation complete!
My Thoughts
Overall, I'm surprised at how well this turned out. Still learning Adobe Animate but I think because I'm still not completely comfortable animating traditionally I like it a bit more than Toonboom Harmony just based off of coming from already using the other apps in the Creative Suite. Just having fun messing around with art!
